CDV – 710   model 5   late 50’s

High range instrument - .02 – 50 R/hr. ~ Radiation Detector – ioniziaton chamber ~ Batteries – 2 “D” cells, 1 – 22 1/2v “B” cell ~ I subminiature triode vacuum tube ~ Controls – range switch – circuit test, off, 0 - .5, 0 – 5, 0 – 50 R/hr. – meter zero control ~ Yellow plastic case ~ Decommissioned in early 60’s when replaced by CDV – 715.

Due to the extreme fragile nature of the 50s plastic this case is made from I did not want to risk damage to the case by unsnapping the latches.  Because of this I only have exterior views of this meter.
