Cattle in the Clear Lake area. Until the Galveston Ship Channel was dug cattle were driven across Galveston Bay between Smith Point and Eagle Point across Red Fish Bar. The last known drive was in 1894 by T. J. Dick, of the Buckhorn Ranch on Clear Lake, near Kemah. |
